Eric Taane
Image specialist
"Agrégé" for university, Eric teaches English in Khâgne preparatory schools. An active cinephile and animator of film clubs, he invites his audience to look differently at the works he presents by adopting a keen eye, questioning the relationship between form and substance. A specialist in Hitchcock, summoning Ford, Tati, Eisenstein, Lang or Antonioni, he invites us to be vigilant in the face of what we see and say. Watching, interpreting, clarifying, enriching oneself with the gaze of the other to gain in relevance, the passage through the images makes it possible to question oneself and engages the teams towards a sense of collective discernment. He is the author of “Explanation of text – Method and practice” (Hachette 1997).
